Areas of research

The staff of the department conducts research within the working hours of teachers.

The topic of the study conducted in 2017-2018: "Management of the publishing business in the context of the development of the media market in Ukraine."

Scientific and practical research and development are carried out on the basis of scientific and practical cooperation with enterprises and organizations of the industry.

The results of scientific research are also covered in lectures given by scientific and pedagogical staff of the department to the teams of enterprises and organizations.

In the field of scientific interests of teachers of the department:

2. Management of innovative development of publishing and printing activities in the process of forming the knowledge economy
3. Economic and information security of media industry enterprises.

5. Capacity management of media and publishing and printing companies.

7. Book and reading in the system of social communications,
8. Management of competitiveness of enterprises in the media industry.
9. Management of the formation and use of fixed capital of printing companies.
10. Quality management of printing products.
11. Problems of development of the publishing and printing market of Ukraine, media marketing.
12. Current problems of book distribution in Ukraine and the study of the impact of public administration on the development of book trade.

Master's dissertations are performed on individual assignments in the chosen direction of scientific work, correspond to the directions of scientific research of the department, research of the teaching staff and requests of branch enterprises and organizations.
