The following conferences are held annually by the department:

In May - scientific and practical conference "Problems and prospects of publishing business in the media market of Ukraine." Main discussion platforms:

Trends in the development of the media market in Ukraine

2. In November - scientific and practical student conference "Current issues of economic development of publishing and printing companies"

The main problems considered:

Management of organizations and enterprises in modern conditions
History, theory, methods of book publishing and book distribution in the context of globalization and information revolution
Marketing and management in the book business
Social and mass communication in modern book business
Antique and second-hand trade: modernization or decline?
The purpose of the conferences is to exchange the results of scientific research, discuss current issues of economics and management of media, publishing and printing companies.

The Department of MVPG participates in the organization of the International Scientific and Technical Conference "Young Printing".
