1. Scientific work of students
The department of MVPG performs R&D: 0116U007974: "Management of publishing business in the context of media market development in Ukraine." Students perform individual search tasks in the chosen direction of scientific work during the internship, preparation of term papers and final qualifying works, annually participate in scientific seminars and round tables, conferences, including organized by the Department of MVPG, Publishing and Printing Institute, Research Institute of Special Types of Printing (Kyiv), other educational institutions and research institutions.

According to the results of scientific research in 2018/2019 Applicants published 32 abstracts, 3 scientific articles in a professional publication included in the scientometric databases, in co-authorship with the supervisor.
2. Scientific cooperation of students and teachers
Research is performed by students in collaboration with teachers of the department. The subject of the publication corresponds to the scientific interests of students, correlates with the subject of the department and covers the problems of intensification of marketing, innovation, communication activities of enterprises in the publishing and media market of Ukraine. Thus, during 2016-2019, 8 scientific articles were published in professional journals, as well as in foreign scientific journals. The most active work with students is conducted by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Shenderivska LP and Ph.D., Associate Professor Gret GP List of articles.
Teachers and students also prepare joint presentations at scientific and scientific-practical conferences. During 2016-2019, teachers of the department Shenderivska LP, Gret GP, Soshinska Ya.Ye., Sukhorukova OA 25 such speeches were prepared. The range of issues covered is wide and includes both consideration of marketing problems of media and printing companies, and research of features of investment, foreign economic, personnel work of branch enterprises. 3. Participation of students of the department in the Olympiads
Students of the department regularly participate in the Olympiads organized at the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic University. Igor Sikorsky ». This is the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Management and the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Strategic Management. In 2020, Olena Chumak, a student of the CE91mp group, took 3rd place at the Olympics. In 2017, the winner of the 1st stage of the Olympiad, student of the group SE61m Inna Komisarenko (Kiselyova) took part in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in "Management of Organizations and Administration", received a diploma of III degree.
